One mission, two registers
Robert Shumake works as a historical archivist. Ajarn Shaman Shu works as a spiritual guide. The register changes; the mission does not — recover what was buried, and hand it back intact.
The archivist's discipline
Archival work teaches restraint. You do not improve the record. You clean it, date it, and let it speak. That discipline carries directly into teaching lineage material.
The teacher's obligation
Wisdom traditions are living archives with no microfilm. They survive in transmission — Ifá, Vedanta, Tibetan and Thai lineages, Tamil Siddha practice. Handling them badly loses them permanently.
Where the voices meet
Both ask the same question: who decided this should be forgotten, and what happens when we refuse?
